Two-Sided Worship

Since Christ Himself is the essence of worship, bringing down the love of God to man, and taking man’s response to His love back to the throne of God, Christian worship, made in Him, will display an analogous two-sidedness: it must enact first the descending movement of the divine charity, and then man’s response in Christ.
